Cake:
2 c sugar
2 c flour
1/2 c crisco
1 stick of butter
1 c water
4 tablespoon cocoa
1/2 c buttermilk
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
1 tablespoon cinnamon (I usually do a little over 1/2 tablespoon)
Sift flour and sugar into a large mixing bowl. Bring to boil 1.2 c crisco, butter, water and cocoa. Pour over flour mixture while hot.
Add buttermilk, beaten eggs, soda, cinnamon, vanilla & salt.
Grease a cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 for 15 minutes.
Frosting:
1 stick butter
3 tablespoon cocoa
6 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 c powder sugar to thicken
bring butter, cocoa, and milk to boil. Then add the rest of the ingredients. Mix smooth, pour on hot cake directly from the oven.
