Apple Pudding




2 C. Sugar


1 Cube Butter or Margarine


2 Eggs


Cream sugar, butter and eggs together.




Add the following to the creamed mixture:


2 C. Flour


3 tsp. Baking Powder


2 tsp. Cinnamon


2 tsp. Nutmeg


1/2 tsp. Salt


4 C. Chopped Apples


1/2 C. Chopped Pecans




Put into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Serve warm with sauce on top.




Sauce:


2 C. Water


1 1/2 C. Sugar


1/2 tsp. Cinnamon


1/2 tsp. Nutmeg3 T. Cornstarch


1/3 C. Butter


2 tsp. Vanilla


Bring water to a boil. Add sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch. Stir constantly until it thickens. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.
