Canned Apple Pie Filling

4 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup cornstarch

Mix together.

2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
10 cups water

Cook until thickened. Add 1 tsp. salt and 3 T. lemon juice.

Add apples up to where bottle starts to narrow. Then pour filling over apples. Pressure cook @ 5 lbs for 10 minutes. Print this post
