Cinnamon Rolls


1/2 cup sugar

1/2 c. of water

2 c. scalded milk

2 tsp. of alt

1/2 c. of oil

6-7 c. of flour

2 Tbs. yeast

2 eggs


Scald milk while mixing sugar, water & salt together. Add scalded milk, oil and 3 cups of flour. Add 2 T. of instant dry yeast, 2 eggs and the remaining flour. Knead for one minute. Let rise for one hour. Toll out dough and add cinnamon filling. Let rise 45 minutes. Cook @ 350 for 10 minutes.
Filling:
1/2 c. of melted butter, add 1 c. of brown sugar and 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon.
