Sunflower Peep Cake

1 Yellow Cake Mix
2 Cans Chocolate Frosting
19 Yellow Chick Peeps Candies
1 1/2 C. Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

Prepare and bake cake according to directions on box, using 2 greased 9 inch round baking pans. Cool for at least 10 minutes before removing cake from pans to wire rack to cool completely. Level tops of cakes. Spread frosting between layers and over top and sides of cake.

Without seperating Peeps, and curving slightly to fit, arrange chicks around the edge of the cake for sunflower petals. For sunflower seeds, arrange chocolate chips in center of the cake. Yield 12 servings.

Your cake is so pretty and nice and orderly looking. I just made one too but mine is lopsided and since my two year old helped not nearly as pretty. I love how neatly the chips were added on!
