Tin Foil Dinners

1-2 Slices Bacon

1-2 Hamburger patties

1-2 potatoes sliced

1 cup baby carrots

1/4 cup chopped onion

1 T. Green Onion

mushrooms (opt.)

a few slices butter

salt pepper

Lawry's seasoning

garlic powder

Tear off a large piece of tinfoil. Place bacon in center of foil and place hamburger patties on top. Cover with potatoes, carrots, onions, mushrooms, butter (make sure you use enough to keep things from sticking) and season to taste. Wrap up and place on cookie sheet. Place in oven and bake 1 hour @ 400.

Serve with brown gravy or ketchup. 1 tinfoil dinner feeds a family of 2-4.

This is exactly how we make ours, except we haven't done it with bacon. Why didn't I think of that sooner?! Oh- and we throw a couple spoonfuls of Cream of Mushroom/Chicken on top and that takes care of the "gravy". Easy & yummy.
