Watermelon Sugar Cookies

Use your favorite sugar cookie recipe (or even a store bought mix) and add green food coloring gel to the cookie dough while mixing.

For the frosting:



4 cups powdered sugar

1 cube softened butter (not melted)

1/2 tsp. almond flavoring

1 tsp. vanilla

desired amount food coloring (I used pink gel coloring, red would be cute too!)

Add a few tablespoons of milk at a time until it is the right consistency. There is no exact recipe, but this makes a fairly large amount of icing.



Top with mini chocolate chips for the seeds, or chocolate sprinkles.
