Bugle Snacks


1 lg bag of regular Bugles
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
¼ cup water
2 tblsp karo syrup
1 cup toasted coconut
Cashews or almonds (optional)
Put bag of Bugles in large bowl. Boil butter, sugar, water and karo syrup in pan until soft ball. Pour mixture over bugles and stir to coat all the bugles. Mix coconut and nuts gently into mixture then spread on wax paper and cool. Enjoy!
