Homemade Fruit Leather

 


Recipe From Alice Bodily

Pit & blend 1 gallon plums (I measure the plums with a gallon ice cream container)

add 1/2 cup sugar & 1 tsp. vanilla

Spread the puree evenly onto trays keeping it approximately 1/8”-1/4" thick throughout. Keep fruit leather puree about 2 inches from the edges to avoid any run-off. Dry at 125º F for 6-8 hours or until leathery.
