Christmas Popcorn

1 lb margarine

1 C. white Karo Syrup

2 2/3 C. white sugar

Bring to a boil in heavy pan until ingredients reach softball stage (then time for 2-4 minutes)

Add 2 tsp. vanilla and pour over popcorn. You can add slivered almonds. Mix well.
